On Saturday 8th July, Reading Phoenix Choir travelled to Harpenden to sing with local choir 'The Music Makers or Hapenden' for a grand end of season concert: 'A New Heaven', named after the piece by Edgar Bainton that we performed together in the concert.
The music performed also Included favourites such as Parry's Blest Pair of Sirens and modern popular music ending with David Bowie's Life on Mars. A grand finale to the choir's 54th Season.
It's no secret but Reading Phoenix Choir give great performances by everyone attending weekly rehearsals and thoroughly learning the music.
